Clay poker chips are the most popular choice of chip when playing poker. They have distinct sound and feel to them. This gives you an overall better playing experience. Once you play with clay chips, you won’t want to play with anything else. All of the clay poker chips are made with a clay/composite material blend. The composite (plastic/pvc) material gives the chip its strength.
The clay chips range in weight from 10 grams up to a super heavy 15 grams. Most casinos and card rooms use chips that have a weight of 10 grams. The clay poker chips can be purchased in 25 chip bundles or in several chip set options ranging in sizes from 200 chips up to 1000 chips. Sets may not available with all chip styles.
You will find that clay poker chips stack better than composite poker chips, because they are less slippery. The chips with graphics have a label inlay on them. These label inlays are recessed into the face of the chip, unlike ceramic poker chips, which the graphics are part of the chip.
All clay poker chips have some percentage of composite materials in them. The composite material gives the chip its strength. A 100% pure clay chip would be extremely brittle and easy to break. Even our casino grade poker chips which have a higher percentage of clay can be broken in half, if you try to break them.
Generally, the more expensive a clay chip costs, the higher the percentage of clay it is made with. It is more complex to manufacturer chips with a higher clay content.
Weight has nothing to do with quality. Our highest quality chips are the 10 gram chips. The weight of a chip is is purely personal preference. Our most popular chips are the heavier 13.5 &14 gram clay poker chips.
All clay chips that weigh more than 11.5 grams have a metal insert in them to give them their weight. The larger the weight the heavier the chip.
All of our clay poker chips are either 39mm or 40mm in diameter. The thickness of most of the chips are the same too.
“What is the best poker chip you have?” The answer is different for everyone and is all based on preference and budget. Most people like the heavier 14 gram clay poker chips with denominations. While some prefer the classic non denominated chips. And a casino enthusiast will prefer the Pure Clay or Ceramic options.

Do challenge coins have regular shapes, thickness, and size?

Most of them require 2″ in size. The standard thickness of our custom coins is 3.0mm, if you need 3D more high, it can be realized, usually our 3D highest 9.5mm edges 3.5mm. Meanwhile, different coin sizes can be welcomed.

How much do custom coins cost?
The challenge coin prices depend on the size of the required currency and the options. Please refer to the challenge coin pricing from our online quotation system cheap challenge coins. We’re sure that you won’t find any other best challenge coins than ours.
GT Gifts doesn’t have any requirements for your order quantities. Custom challenge coins no minimum! But there is a below-minimum fee.
Must I pay a mold fee when customizing coins?
When you customize your coins the first time, a mold fee needs to pay. But our mold fee is free in the next two years and we will keep it in our mold room.
If I have a favorite picture. Can you use it in my coin design?
Before the production of your order, you can cancel it at any time and are entitled to our money back. However, once your product has molding or been finished, we won’t cancel it. If you get a defective product, we will either re-make your order free of charge or give a discount. But this is rare!
How to pay for your order of coins?

What are UV printed coins?
The UV printed coins are made with printing crafts. They can 100% show your design with vivid colors and patterns. If too many colors can not realize on enamel colors filling,usually we suggest UV printing.
What is the turnaround time for challenge coins?
Our shortest turnaround time is typically 7-15 days for production, with 3-5 days for shipping. If you are not in a hurry to receive the items, longer turnaround times will offer a shipping discount. It ranges from 15, 20, and 30 working days, with a 10, 20, and 30 percent discount accordingly.
Can I order this design from your website?
All images in the gallery and exhibition and their designs are the copyrighted designs of our customers. You cannot order someone else’s design without their explicit permission.
What are the challenge coins made out of?

What metal finish options are available?
There is shiny gold, shiny silver, shiny copper, shiny black nickel, two tone, antique gold, antique brass, antique silver, antique copper, two tone, and rainbow finish.
What is the difference between 2D and 3D?
With a 2D coin, the surface will be flat, and the metal line work that makes up the design will be raised, with the top of the line flat. With a 3D coin, the surface will be raised, and the design will be detailed and rounded off to give it a 3D effect. 3D will be more expensive.
A 2D coin only has two levels, one raised level over a lower recessed level, 3D coins have infinite levels of raised and recessed detail, allowing for sculpted images and rounded edges with more realistic depth on a coin’s metallic surface.
